The name Xapien is inspired by “Sapien” — human. Throughout history, we have all contributed in different ways: farmers nourish us, doctors heal us, engineers build for us, and creators inspire us. These contributions create value for others while also sustaining the people behind them. Xapien is how I hope to contribute, through clothing created with intention, quality, comfort, and self-expression in mind. If something I create becomes a piece someone loves to wear, feels confident in, finds comfort in, or simply feels more like themselves in, then Xapien has fulfilled a need in one human’s experience. And that, to me, is the purpose of Xapien.
